✓ Short version

xCAR.GO does not collect, store, sell, or transmit any personal data. The app is an operational tool for technical crew on cruise ships. All inventory and cargo data lives on a local server on board (a Raspberry Pi 5 in the venue), never leaves the ship's network, and is owned by the operator (TUI Cruises / Mein Schiff Flow technical team).

1Who we are

xCAR.GO is developed by AXV Systems, operating under the business entity tomedia.studio (NIP 9211818707, Tomaszów Lubelski, Poland). The technical lead and data controller for this beta is Wojtek Zurkiewicz.

2What the app stores (on your device)

xCAR.GO uses your device's local IndexedDB (built into iOS Safari engine) to cache the following operational data while you work:

Equipment scan records (barcode, serial number, brand, model, location) — created by you on the job
Cargo list entries from delivery waybills (Lieferscheine) — created by you
An anonymous device identifier (random UUID, e.g. dev_8f2eb568-…) — generated locally, used only to label which device made a scan
An optional friendly name for the device (e.g. "iPad Bühne A") — set by you
The API key required to call Claude Vision — fetched from the local on-board server (never typed by you, never shared off-network)

This data syncs to the local on-board Pi5 server when you're connected to the xcargo-net Wi-Fi, and stays there. It is not sent to AXV, Apple, Anthropic, or any third party — only to the on-board server, which is operated by the ship's technical team.

3What we do NOT collect

No personal identifiers. No name, no email, no phone number, no Apple ID. The app does not have user accounts or sign-in.
No location tracking. GPS / location services are not used.
No contacts, calendars, messages, photos library scan. The Photos permission is optional and only reads images you explicitly pick.
No advertising or behavioural tracking. No analytics SDKs, no Facebook pixel, no Google Analytics.
No crash telemetry to AXV. Apple's TestFlight may collect crash logs (see §6), but AXV does not run its own telemetry.
No microphone recording in the background. The microphone is used only when you actively press a record button for dictation.

4Camera, microphone, and AI processing

Camera: used for barcode scanning and AI equipment identification. Images are processed in real-time and either (a) discarded immediately after barcode decode, or (b) sent to Claude Vision for identification — see below.

AI processing (Claude Vision by Anthropic): when you tap "AI Identify", the captured image is sent to Anthropic's Claude API (api.anthropic.com) for analysis. Anthropic's policy applies to that single API call: anthropic.com/legal/privacy. Anthropic does not train on API content under their commercial terms. The image and the resulting text are then stored locally as part of the equipment record.

Microphone: used only when you explicitly start dictation. Audio is processed by Apple's on-device Speech Recognition (no cloud) and the resulting text is saved as a note.

5Data ownership and access

All operational data (scans, cargo lists, photos) created in xCAR.GO during this pilot is the property of the operator — TUI Cruises GmbH / Mein Schiff Flow technical team. AXV Systems provides the software and on-board hardware; AXV does not access, view, copy, or back up the ship's production data unless explicitly requested by TUI for technical support.

The on-board Pi5 server is physically located in the venue and connected only to the ship's local network. No remote management or remote backup is configured by default.

6TestFlight (Apple) considerations

This beta is distributed via Apple's TestFlight platform. When you install the app via TestFlight, Apple may collect:

Crash reports and device performance metrics
Your Apple ID email (so they can deliver the build to you)
Beta feedback you explicitly send via TestFlight's feedback feature

This collection is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and is independent of AXV. Crash reports forwarded to AXV by Apple contain no personal data, only technical details (stack traces, iOS version, device model).

7Your rights

Because no personal data is collected by AXV, the data subject rights under GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, portability) primarily concern data stored on the on-board server, which is controlled by TUI Cruises.

If you wish to:

Remove the app from your device: uninstall via TestFlight. All local IndexedDB data is removed automatically.
Stop receiving beta updates: in TestFlight, tap xCAR.GO → Stop Testing.
Request a copy of any data: contact AXV (below) and we will forward the request to the on-board operator.

8Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the "Effective" date at the top of this page will change and we will notify active beta testers via TestFlight release notes. The current version is always at xcargo.axv.wtf/privacy.

xCAR.GO sammelt, speichert, verkauft oder überträgt keine personenbezogenen Daten. Die App ist ein operatives Werkzeug für technische Crews auf Kreuzfahrtschiffen. Alle Inventar- und Lieferscheindaten liegen auf einem lokalen Server an Bord (ein Raspberry Pi 5 in der Venue), verlassen nie das Bordnetz und gehören dem Betreiber (TUI Cruises / Technik-Team der Mein Schiff Flow).

1Wer wir sind

xCAR.GO wird von AXV Systems entwickelt, betrieben unter der Geschäftseinheit tomedia.studio (NIP 9211818707, Tomaszów Lubelski, Polen). Technical Lead und Datenverantwortlicher für diese Beta ist Wojtek Zurkiewicz.

2Was die App speichert (auf Eurem Gerät)

xCAR.GO nutzt die lokale IndexedDB des Geräts (in iOS Safari integriert), um folgende Betriebsdaten während der Arbeit zwischenzuspeichern:

Equipment-Scan-Datensätze (Barcode, Seriennummer, Marke, Modell, Standort) — von Euch im Einsatz erstellt
Lieferscheinpositionen von Lieferungen — von Euch erstellt
Eine anonyme Geräte-Kennung (zufällige UUID, z.B. dev_8f2eb568-…) — lokal generiert, dient nur dazu, Scans dem Gerät zuzuordnen
Ein optionaler freundlicher Gerätename (z.B. „iPad Bühne A") — von Euch festgelegt
Der API-Key für Claude Vision — vom lokalen Bord-Server geholt (nie von Euch eingegeben, nie außerhalb des Netzes geteilt)

Diese Daten synchronisieren sich mit dem lokalen Pi5-Server an Bord, sobald Ihr im xcargo-net-WLAN seid, und bleiben dort. Sie werden nicht an AXV, Apple, Anthropic oder Dritte gesendet — nur an den Bord-Server, der vom Technik-Team des Schiffs betrieben wird.

3Was wir NICHT sammeln

Keine persönlichen Identifikatoren. Kein Name, keine E-Mail, keine Telefonnummer, keine Apple ID. Die App hat keine Benutzerkonten oder Anmeldung.
Keine Standortverfolgung. GPS / Ortungsdienste werden nicht genutzt.
Keine Kontakte, Kalender, Nachrichten, Foto-Mediathek-Scans. Die Foto-Berechtigung ist optional und liest nur Bilder, die Ihr explizit auswählt.
Kein Werbe- oder Verhaltenstracking. Keine Analytics-SDKs, kein Facebook-Pixel, kein Google Analytics.
Keine Crash-Telemetrie zu AXV. Apples TestFlight sammelt evtl. Crash-Logs (siehe §6), aber AXV betreibt keine eigene Telemetrie.
Keine Mikrofonaufnahme im Hintergrund. Das Mikrofon wird nur genutzt, wenn Ihr aktiv den Diktiermodus startet.

4Kamera, Mikrofon und KI-Verarbeitung

Kamera: für Barcode-Scanning und KI-Equipment-Erkennung. Bilder werden in Echtzeit verarbeitet und entweder (a) sofort nach Barcode-Decodierung verworfen oder (b) zur Erkennung an Claude Vision gesendet — siehe unten.

KI-Verarbeitung (Claude Vision von Anthropic): wenn Ihr „KI-Erkennung" tippt, wird das Bild an Anthropics Claude-API (api.anthropic.com) zur Analyse gesendet. Für diesen einzelnen API-Aufruf gilt Anthropics Richtlinie: anthropic.com/legal/privacy. Anthropic trainiert unter ihren kommerziellen Bedingungen nicht auf API-Inhalten. Bild und resultierender Text werden dann lokal als Teil des Equipment-Datensatzes gespeichert.

Mikrofon: nur wenn Ihr aktiv die Diktierfunktion startet. Audio wird von Apples geräteinterner Spracherkennung verarbeitet (keine Cloud) und der resultierende Text als Notiz gespeichert.

5Dateneigentum und Zugriff

Alle in xCAR.GO während dieses Pilotprojekts erstellten Betriebsdaten (Scans, Lieferscheine, Fotos) sind Eigentum des Betreibers — TUI Cruises GmbH / Technik-Team Mein Schiff Flow. AXV Systems stellt Software und Bord-Hardware bereit; AXV greift nicht auf die Produktionsdaten des Schiffs zu, sieht sie nicht ein, kopiert oder sichert sie nicht — es sei denn, TUI fordert dies ausdrücklich für technischen Support an.

Der Pi5-Server an Bord steht physisch in der Venue und ist nur mit dem lokalen Schiffsnetzwerk verbunden. Standardmäßig ist keine Fernverwaltung oder Fernsicherung eingerichtet.

6TestFlight (Apple) Hinweise

Diese Beta wird über Apples TestFlight-Plattform verteilt. Bei Installation über TestFlight kann Apple folgendes erfassen:

Crash-Reports und Geräte-Performance-Metriken
Eure Apple-ID-E-Mail (damit der Build zugestellt werden kann)
Beta-Feedback, das Ihr explizit über die TestFlight-Feedback-Funktion sendet

Diese Erfassung unterliegt Apples Datenschutzrichtlinie und ist unabhängig von AXV. Crash-Reports, die Apple an AXV weiterleitet, enthalten keine personenbezogenen Daten, nur technische Details (Stack Traces, iOS-Version, Gerätemodell).

7Eure Rechte

Da AXV keine personenbezogenen Daten sammelt, betreffen die Betroffenenrechte nach DSGVO (Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Übertragbarkeit) primär die Daten auf dem Bord-Server, der von TUI Cruises kontrolliert wird.

Wenn Ihr möchtet:

Die App vom Gerät entfernen: über TestFlight deinstallieren. Alle lokalen IndexedDB-Daten werden automatisch gelöscht.
Keine Beta-Updates mehr erhalten: in TestFlight xCAR.GO antippen → „Stop Testing".
Eine Kopie aller Daten anfordern: AXV kontaktieren (unten) — wir leiten die Anfrage an den Bord-Betreiber weiter.

8Änderungen dieser Richtlinie

Bei Aktualisierungen ändert sich das „Effective"-Datum oben auf dieser Seite, und wir informieren aktive Beta-Tester über die TestFlight-Release-Notes. Die aktuelle Version findet Ihr immer unter xcargo.axv.wtf/privacy.
